SolarKapital Lumen had a good start into 2025. The portfolio is growing, optimisations are taking effect and production is exceeding targets.

The first half of 2025 was marked by striking successes and decisions for the future for the SK investment initiative ‘Lumen’. Several planned transactions were successfully completed, the integration of the newly acquired plants and companies went smoothly, and cooperation with our partners and service providers is already running successfully.

At the same time, operational optimisations were pursued consistently in the newly acquired portfolio, contractual adjustments were effected, maintenance backlogs successfully eliminated, and production downtimes minimised through plant management with rapid reaction times. In addition to initial savings potential on the cost side, this has resulted in particularly encouraging production results: as of 30 June 2025, production of the Lumen portfolio was approximately 3.5% above target and approximately 11% above the previous year at around 7 GWh. Also, spare part management was implemented according to the standards of the SolarKapital Group.

For the second half of the year, the focus will be on implementing further technical optimisations and realising additional savings potential, as well as examining larger-scale optimisations, such as repowering measures for individual PV systems. Communications with lessors and respective feasibility analyses are already under way.
