SolarKapital reports the second closing and, thus, the completed acquisition of a 2.2 MWp PV-plant in Corsica. Already in December 2012 SolarKapital acquired the PV-plant and therefore complements the growing PV-portfolio of SolarKapital. "Considering the French feed-in-tariff regulation we are positive to have made an attractive investment and an improvement and a further diversification of our existing PV-portfolio on islands," says Dr. Tobias Engelhardt, Managing Director of SolarKapital GmbH. In Greece, SolarKapital operates PV-plants on the islands of Crete and Rhodes with a capacity of approx. 1 MWp. "From our perspective, the decentralized generation of solar energy on tourist-oriented islands is particularly useful and promising," adds Dr. Andreas Leimbach, also managing director of SolarKapital GmbH.
