SolarKapital retains high growth pace in Greece.

SolarKapital, in 2025 and in the context of the ‘Platon’ investment initiative, acquired five additional PV stations in Greece. The said solar assets have a total capacity of 950 kWp and the investment volume exceeds EUR1.6 mio. The location of the PV stations are Thessaloniki, Viotia, Pieria and Messinia. Acquired components include Canadian Solar, Yingli and Up Solar modules and inverters from Refusol and SMA. The total number of PV stations in Greece thereby increased to 48 with a nominal capacity now exceeding 10 MWp and a total investment volume of more than EUR26 mio.

Constantinos Sioumis, Managing Director of SolarKapital Greece, comments: "The Group’s third investment initiative in the country has nearly completed its acquisition phase, resulting in another highly qualitative and well-diversified portfolio of solar assets. Despite the grave changes in the regulatory framework recently enacted in Greece, the SolarKapital portfolio in Greece benefits to a very large extent from the reliable characteristics of the early regulatory regime. We are very pleased with this and will complete the initiative with some further acquisitions in 2026."
